"You petty minded fools, do you think this is wise?!" - Gorse
personality
'You've got to be the smartest tom I know, Gorsekit!" - Lizzardpaw.
There isn't a lot to be known of Gorse, really he's quite different from his siblings as he doesn't act out, doesn't scheme to get hi way - he uses simple and clean cut profession. Intelligent can be a word many cats label with Gorse. As many cats have come to see Gorse has long since outlived his years mentally and has long since come to realize that his love and thirst for knowledge is far vast then all those around him. Some may even say he is far wise for his age, able to have a valid and just point if asked his view. But it is when he comes to just thinking; it is truly his way of going about things. He is all ask questions first and then attack; not the other way around and is very much; unlike his father.
'It's my life Gorsepaw! You are not my mother!' - Lizzardpaw
Where there is his intelligence, he is just as curious and nosy as any cat out there. That is why we find Gorsepaw like all other cats - he prides himself in being the smartest and far more intelligent then those of his age, but his pride falls short when he is shown up, when his curious nature gets him in trouble. For, for every time he tries to show a warrior older then him up, he finds himself being pushed down and away.
'They may be my blood, but that's about it, Bearpaw." - Gorsepaw.
Gorse has been through the world only a short time, and yet he can be categorized as a stubborn mule at almost everything he does. This little man will do just about anything to stay by his morals, by his ways and by his mind - even if that means betraying those he loves. Gorse has a nasty habit of being brutally honest with everyone and this has caused many cats to dislike - or even spit at him in anger. But what can you do with your own mini-sherlock holmes. But should and any one of his siblings come to him, personally and ask for help; he'll drop anything for them.

history
featuring; gorsepaw, ravenwing, ravenpaw, ashenstar, wolfpaw, dappledpaw, bearpaw and lizzardpaw.
We all know the tragic ending of Ravenwing, her death brutal and blood everywhere. Had Gorse been born with his eyes open and aware, he would of seen red and known true horrors that day. But instead Gorse's earliest memory is of deep darkness, cries for milk gone on deaf ears as the scent of stale blood filled his nostrils instead. It would be in those earliest moments of life; that Gorse would have a change in his role.
'Sometimes, my fellow kits, we must go out and find the case.' -Gorsepaw.
As a three moon old kit, Gorsepaw was never close to his siblings, and instead would prefer the company of the moon younger; Lizzardkit and Bearkit, to that of his siblings. The two kits; one a she-cat and the other a tom, had become his best friends in such a short time that during many of their little kit adventures, he requested their help over his siblings. 'Little minded creatures; but I do enjoy your company. Come on, brilliant!' It wasn't much, but it was Lizzardkit's kindness and Bearkit's loyalty that really drove the tom to think that maybe these cats were indeed his friends. So it was during their whole role as kits that they played, and pushed, and experimented with the rules. Gorsekit would always try to reason with the older warriors; 'I'm plenty capable to handle myself out there. All I requested was a guide, you simple minded fool.' Which would earn him a swipe knock to his ears.
'You need to be brave, you'll join me soon enough.' - Gorsepaw.
It wasn't everyday that Gorsekit - now Gorsepaw felt alone. He would start his training as perusal, before returning to camp to tell Lizzardkit and Bearkit his day. He would sit with them instead of the other apprentices, and it made him odd, even unapproachable. So when Lizzard and Bear became Bearpaw and Lizzardpaw, it was a moment of rejoice for the young apprentice as his two best friends would curl themselves around him. Lizzardpaw has become his watson and Bearpaw is lestrade and it was he who had been the sherlock. In fact, as they grew, they began to come into a dangerous life.
'Dad... please... no... DAD!' - Gorsepaw.
It was never hard to say that Gorsepaw loved his family truly. In fact, on would find the young tom had gushed over Ravenpaw's sweetness (sicken, but generally great) or how kind Dappledpaw was, even Wolfpaw's skills as a fighter were mentioned to Bearpaw and Lizzardpaw. But it was his father that always made conversation. 'He's a great leader, smart and motivated, I'll be just like him one day.' Everyone knew of Gorse's love for his father and so when Ashenstar fell sick, it tore at Gorse's heart. He took, would fall ill, but not of the poison, but of the heart and he would watch his father die and return to life.
The journey would harden him, make him hate his family more so for not comforting him in the way he had needed. To be reassured that the only parental figure they had left would not leave them like he had - but instead he had been rude, cruel and his siblings had dished a whooping on his booty. So he turned to Lizzardpaw and Bearpaw more so.
