I fought it a lot and it seems a lot like flesh is all I got All these cats are very important to Crowfur. They have all made him who is in some way, and will continue to help him grow throughout his life. He was mentored by Crowfur's dad, Nightstrike and is something of a "golden boy" of the Clan. With a large amount great warrior ancestors in his blood, he was held on a high pedestal since he could practically walk. Icewatcher's family held a long line of greatness in which he followed blindly. During his apprenticeship was when all the good things about being held in high regard soured. Jealousy follows greatness, cloaks it like a shadow. Icepaw had begun to notice the cold and cruel reactions of his peers and even some warriors when he was rewarded often for doing something extraordinarily well. They all said he was a fake or simply had good breeding. Many a cat spat at him, wanted his power and ease of ability. This made Icewatcher wary. His mentor tried to protect him from any harm, but he couldn't always be there. That's why when he got Crowpaw as his apprentice and recognized the pattern repeating, he stopped it. Ice knew the same damned circle was going to keep refreshing each generation if he didn't stop it. He loved his Clanmates, but jealousy and the ambition to be great blinded them. He taught Crowfur the true meaning of greatness and how to hide it, save it until needed. Icewatcher still gives his former apprentice advice quite often and they are still very close.
