"I'm perfectly fine. I don't need your help!"
personality
On the very surface of Rainwhisker's personality, she seems very aloof. She doesn't easily show emotions and tends to bottle them up, which does a number on her self esteem. Most cats don't know much about her other than those single facts. She is usually very negative on the inside, assuming the worst out of every outcome. She feels as though she doesn't deserve as much as she gets. Her insecurities are plentiful, and are probably her biggest flaw. She let's them hold her back from truly excelling in anything she does, and instead, attempts to support her clan mates. Rainwhisker isn't all bad, however, She is very intelligent and thinks very analytically. While her negativity and insecurities hold her back, she is very thoughtful to other cats that she believes work their hardest for the Clan, or truly needs the Clan's protection. She tends to show some sort of affection toward Elders, Queens, and Kits. It is a rather awkward and cold affection, however, because she doesn't believe that she deserves any thanks for going above and beyond to assure their comfort. Rainwhisker also is afraid to take on any responsibility because she believes that she will mess up somehow, and everything will end up being her fault. She simply wants to do what is best for WindClan. Rainwhisker is also extremely loyal to her Clan, the cats in her clan, and will be for any future mate and kits she may or may not end up having. Rainwhisker honestly tries to work though her bad qualities alone, and perhaps one day she could at least get over most of her insecurities and finally show her Clan that she can truly be an amazing warrior.
history
Rainkit was born to Ashfang and Cloudfur, both loyal WindClan warriors. She had two brothers and a sister, who were called Greykit, Littlekit, and Silverkit, repsectively. Her small family was rather average. Her siblings and her were close, her mother was doting and their father was always very supportive. It wasn't until Rainpaw's apprenticeship that things started to make a small turn for the worst. Her siblings, as far as she could tell, weren't having much of a problem with their training. If they did, they never spoke about it. The all had obvious talents and seemed to preform amazing feats. Rainpaw felt as though she was making constant mistakes. She would leave the camp when they needed her, she couldn't catch a single prey when they went hunting. She felt as though every trial her mentor Leopardpelt gave her, she fell short of. She started practicing with every amount of free time she had, but that didn't seem to be enough to make up for her lack of skills. When the time came for her warrior test, she barely passed, becoming Rainwhisker. By then, however, the damage had been done. The once happy kit had become aloof, trying to keep from displaying all of her negativity and isecurities to the clan. It worsened after about a moon after she became a warrior. She fell in love with a tom in WindClan. He was fun loving, and positive, and made her feel at ease somehow. However, when she finally got the courage to ask him to become her made, he rejected her as nicely as he could manage. He had fallen in love with another she-cat. He said she had waited too long, and that he had been interested in her a while ago. She knew it was an attempt to make her feel better, but she just felt shattered. Silverfeather, her sister, tried to console her. However, Rainwhisker pretended she was fine and went on with her life, never looking at the tom again. She regretted it a few weeks later, when the poison had killed a majority of their Clan. She sat with his new mate as he ascended into StarClan. She had lost her only chance to remain friends. She felt angered by the poisoned food, and the plants. She was so relieved when it was said that they were moving. She couldn't stand more dead kits, more dead queens, and elders. The life was being slowly drained from the Clan. As RiverClan moved, Rainwhisker suffered the last blow to the heart. Silverfeather, her best friend and sister, became sick from the food shortly after leaving, and died before they ever arrived to their new home. She feels bitter, being here. She believes that Silverfeather never made it into StarClan, due to the lack of communication. She feels as though her sister, who had much more talent then herself, should have survived. They call it survivors guilt...
