personality
✿ playful
The word that most describes Timperpaw is playful. He wants everything to be fun and games all the time! He's quite the goofball. His spirits are always high. You can guarantee to find this cat with a smile at anytime of the day! Also, he's quite the jokester. Timberpaw has a great sense of humor and loves messing around with others. He enjoys laughing as much as he likes causing laughter, so he can take a joke very well! Though.. he sometimes interprets rude comments as mere jokes, when really they were meant to be hurtful. Sometimes his playfulness can interfere with his duties as an apprentice. The cat has a hard time being serious when he needs to be.
✿ brave
Despite the fact that the tom is not familiar with danger, he is quite brave. The reason for this is because he is simply carefree and curious. When a challenge arises, the cat will merely shrug his shoulders and take it on with barely a second thought.
✿ naive
Due to the tom's youthful age of 7 moons, the cat tends to be very naive. Timberpaw often show a certain ignorance or simplicity when thinking about a problem. This is due to lack of experience, information, and proper ability to make judgments. Though being naive is mostly a good thing, it can also have its downfalls. Since Timberpaw has such a lack of worldly experience, he tends to believe what others say without questioning it. He's rather gullible, and it would be very easy to trick this cat...
✿ outgoing
Timberpaw is loud, open, and talkative. The tom is a social butterfly. He enjoys making friends of all ages (though sometimes he can be a bit too much for the elders), and loves getting to know new acquaintances. He just downright likes to interact with others. He knows how to keep a conversation going, even if it is just him rambling about the strangest of things! Timberpaw isn't afraid to speak his mind, though he has trouble thinking before he speaks, and sometimes his mouth gets him into trouble.
♢ adventurous
If the cat were to have a human idol, it would definitely be Indiana Jones! The apprentice is constantly itching for adventure. He desperately wants to explore the world around him and see what great things there are to discover out there!
♢ carefree
There is nothing weighing down the shoulders of this apprentice, not that there could be much to worry about at Timberpaw's age to begin with. He is completely carefree and worry free! And when problems do arise, the cat simply avoids them. There's too many fun things to do to be worrying about solving problems!
☁ distracted/forgetful
It's very difficult for Timberpaw to focus. He has the attention span of a squirrel. A million things are rushing through his mind at once, making it hard for the cat to properly listen to others. Therefore, he has problems remembering things in his jumbled up head. The tom isn't very trustworthy when it comes to remembering things. When given a task, it's very difficult for Timberpaw to carry it out properly or on time, because there are so many fun and interesting things out there to distract him!
☁ annoying
The cat can be referred to as being annoying, especially by the older, more cynical cats. He doesn't try to be bothersome whatsoever; Timberpaw is just trying to have fun! His carefree and rambunctious nature can come off as recklessness. If a cat were to simply tell him to "bug off!", he would gladly listen. He just never knows that he is being annoying!
☁ restless
He cannot handle downtime. The apprentice always has to be doing something, whether it's rolling back and forth in the grass or kneading his claws into the ground. The tom is always running around the camp, exerting his abundance of energy. He simply can't sit still! This becomes a problem during anything Clan-related, such as meetings in camp, hunting/battle training, and gatherings (if he were to attend one). Boredom sweeps over him quickly, and Timberpaw doesn't have enough self-control to ignore his need for fun.
☁ rough
When playing, the tom often gets too caught up in the moment. The excitement overtakes his body and suddenly the make-believe game he's playing becomes real! He sometimes gets out of hand and becomes very rough in his play-fighting, not knowing where the line is drawn.

history
pre-birth:
Amberstripe and Thornfang were in love. Not just the tail-twirling, whisper-sweet-nothings kind of love. No, this was earth moving, heart wrenching stuff. The dark and sensitive tom and the happy-go-lucky she-cat fell so madly in love that they didn't know what to do with themselves. The two were inseparable, attached at the whiskers. They brought out the best in one another. They were a shining example of how love should work. And what were two love-filled cats to do? Why, start a family of course!
The couple tried endlessly for kits. After moons and moons of trying, the two of them lost hope; somebody in the combination seemed to be infertile. Though they still had one another to love, it broke their hearts knowing that they could never expand their family. They went about their lives normally, continuing to serve their Clan and love one another. Until, one day, Amberstripe felt something move inside of her. Could it be? She rushed to the medicine cat den, and it was indeed confirmed that she was pregnant. Overjoyed, the she-cat rushed to tell Thornfang, who was a bit skeptical at first. After many jokes about himself not being the father (which she did not laugh at), the tom joined his lover in her excitement. Somehow they'd done it! Amberstripe had conceived little kitties.
The she-cat was very, very careful throughout her pregnancy. It was on a newleaf morning that she birthed the kits. The first born was named Morningkit, followed by Timberkit and then a stillborn. Though the parents were sorrowful about their stillborn kit, they gave many thanks to StarClan for the gift of their two healthy bundles of joy. They were going to raise the most perfect kits!
kit:
Indeed, Timberkit had a wonderful kit hood. Amberstripe and Thorntooth gave the kits their all. His younger days were filled with play-fighting, make believe games, mischievous pranks, and mock Clan ceremonies. Timberkit was the epitome of carefree; nothing could damper the kit's high spirits! In his naivety, he feared nothing and had absolutely nothing to worry about.
Him and his sister gallivanted through the camp, causing all kinds of kittish trouble, pestering the elders and attempting (but never exceeding) to sneak out of the camp. Morningkit wasn't only his sibling, she was his absolute best friend. They loved the same things and were almost exactly the same when it came to personality! The two were together so often that various cats in the Clan began calling them the "Dynamic Duo".
apprentice:
The day finally came when the members of the Dynamic Duo were apprenticed. "Paw" was added to the end of their names, and they were assigned to mentors. Timberpaw really struggled at the beginning of his apprenticeship. He was so used to all of the fun and games, and then suddenly his life turned serious. Plus, he didn't get to hang around Morningpaw as much as usual. Responsibility sucked. Though, as the days went on he found it becoming easier for him to focus on training, but it wasn't any more appealing. He just wanted to play! Morningpaw, on the other hand, seemed to be adapting very well. This upset Timberpaw because he felt like he was losing his best friend; she was changing, and he had to stop her from leaving him behind!
About a moon passed before the Clans decided to leave their territory in search of a new home. Timperpaw, though sad about leaving behind his childhood home, was glad that he got to be with his family as they traveled. His duties as an apprentice weren't quite as strict which meant he could play with Morningpaw, right?! Wrong. Every time Timberpaw acted like his wild, rowdy self he was scolded. He was told to "act mature in this time of crisis." or "quit being a mousebrain, the Clan needs your help." Tensions and anxieties were high, so Timberpaw decided to tone it down a bit, but his impulses were hard to control.
Finally, they reached a destination. Timberpaw and his family are settling down. He is taking full advantage of the Clan being temporarily out of order and is doing all of the fun and mischievous things that he can before he has to do his duties once more!
